Pondicherry: A quiet little town on the southern coast. Thanjavur / Tanjore:  Sri Bragadeeswarar Temple, built by the great Chola king, Rajaraja in 10th century AD. The Palace, building of masonry built in 1550 AD. Art Gallery, number of granite and bronze statues of the Chola period.  Saraswathi Mahal Library, library where over 30,000 palm leaves and paper manuscripts. Madurai, the second largest city in Tamil Nadu, known for renowned Meenakshi Temple, is famous for intricate carvings and scriptures. Madurai, 2,500 years old city in the bank of river Vaigai with rich culture & heritage. Capital of Pandya, Madurai built by King Kulasekara, in 6th century BC.

Thekkady: Conjures up images of elephants, unending chains of hills and spice scented plantations. The Periyar forests, one of the finest wildlife reserves in India, spreads with the picturesque plantations and hill towns that hold great opportunities for treks & mountain walks.

Munnar: One of the popular attractions among the domestic & foreign travelers, Munnar situated at the confluence of three mountain streams, about 1600 m above sea level, the hill station with tea estates and Munnar was the resort of the erstwhile British administration in south India.
